     Hi Beth,
     Interesting comment. Knitting can be a cause, mostly it is a part of every day. If you are a knitter; knitting can be a release from tension; a gift giving tool; an addiction; a collection; knitting is many things, depends on whom you ask.
     For me knitting is just who I am. I am best with knitting in my hands and on my mind.

     I run a workshop on painting with dyes through the store every summer. It is a two parter, first come and get your yarn, receive pattern and learn new stitches if necessary. Then come back, about two months later, with the project knit and then paint.

     I have just ordered some yarn to sample knit for this years workshop!

       I live in Bellingham, perhaps you could send yarn and pattern and then I could come over for the workshop and spend the night.
