Diamond Webs – fine webs collecting the mist!
I realised as I started to write this post that I had forgotten to add the slide show to the earlier post! So I’ll combine both sets of pictures in this posting.
Mild and Misty this morning, not really raining, just very heavy mist! The webs were catching the water and they looked just like blankets of diamonds.
Fool the eyes! It just looks like a Moss mushroom! The stump and the mossy rock lined up perfectly!
Everything is incredibly green. Moss is so think on everything around the Lake that it looks like carpeting.
The lake was perfectly calm. There were a few ducks floating around the edges of the lake and a dog was chasing a stick into the water.
The air had that particular stillness that seems to come with a heavy mist and all the sounds seemed to echo with a hollow, muffled, booming around the lake.
A good walk.
