I Heard an Owl…..

I took quite a few pictures!

I took quite a few pictures!

This morning at Morrell Sanctuary was very exciting!  We saw an owl – a Northern Barred Owl, a young one I think!  I am pretty sure that the breast on a full-grown Northern Barred Owl does not look fuzzy and soft like the breast on this Owl!

First it was resting – quite low down – then it flew – but not too far and then just sat so that I could take pictures!  He or she was just incredible, resting there, looking right at me and the camera!

Happy Viewing!
